PRoGRAMS & Lessons

Take your skiing to the next level. We offer a range of lessons & formats to suit everyone’s needs, taught by instructors certified by the Canadian Association of Nordic Ski Instructors (CANSI).

We will make every effort to accommodate unscheduled lessons, but it is completely dependent on having staff available. 24 to 48 hours advanced booking is usually sufficient.

Please note that ski equipment rental is available at Nickel Plate. Lesson prices do not included rentals or trail fees. Lesson dates are subject to weather and sufficient registrants.

THREE Week Skate Lessons: $135

Session 1- Saturdays: Dec 2, 9 and 16, 2023

12:00 pm – 1:30 pm

Session 2- Sundays: Jan 7, 14 and 21,  2024

10:00 am – 11:30 am

This program is best suited to those with at least some skiing experience (skate or classic). It is a great opportunity to increase your skills and enjoyment from the sport, and meet new ski partners.

Masters Refresher Camps: $245.00

Nov 24-26 Classic 2.5 days (third day is 1/2 day)

Dec 1-3 Skate: 2.5 days (third day is 1/2 day)

New this year, two sessions of early season refresher courses to get your season off to the best start.

These camps will be taught by the one and only Rick Watson, Level 3 CANSI instructor. Sign up here.

Private: $90.00

If you want an instructor all to yourself, book a private lesson online. You’ll be able to focus on specifics without distraction.  Book online here.

Come join us to top up your classic skiing ability. This program is best suited to those with at least some skiing experience (even just one lesson prior). It is a great opportunity to increase your skills and enjoyment from the sport, and meet new ski partners.

Season Long Masters Courses: $275-$300

This season we are offering three streams of masters programming. The first is classic only group the second and third groups are classic and skate. Both of these groups are designed for intermediate skiers, folks who are comfortable on their skis. The difference between the groups is one is more focused on technique improvement while the other is focused on fitness (aka more skiing less instruction).

Family Lessons: $140

Bring the whole family our for fun on the snow. All participants must be of the same immediate family, but there is no age limit. Book online here.

Lessons are 1 hour. Ski passes required.

Semi-Private: $90 for first person, $35 for each additional person

Semi-private lessons are another great way to get more “me time” with an instructor, and perfect for friends and couples. Book online here.
