We are thrilled to welcome Meghan Keir as our new General Manager at Nickel Plate Nordic Centre and excited to have Alex Caplan return as our Customer Services Lead. With Meghan’s extensive background in outdoor recreation and business management, and Alex’s growing leadership in coordinating programs and services, we’re confident that they will make this season at Nickel Plate an incredible experience for our members and visitors alike.
Meghan Keir – General Manager
Meghan Keir, General Manager at Nickel Plate, recently relocated to Penticton from Prince George. With extensive experience in outdoor recreation, she has owned an Adventure Guiding Company, worked at a backcountry skiing lodge, and volunteered with organizations like the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides, Prince George Search and Rescue, and the Alpine Club of Canada. Meghan is passionate about creating opportunities for people to enjoy the outdoors and brings strong business management skills from her previous role as manager of Goodlife Fitness and owner of Guided By Adventure – BC. Upon being offered the position, Meghan said, “I’m grateful for the opportunity and very excited to dive into it.”
